Revelation Records
American Hardcore label founded mid eighties by Jordan Cooper in New York. Currently based in California. Famous for releasing Youth Crew Hardcore from the very beginning. Bands like Judge, Gorilla Biscuits, Youth Of Today, Side By Side, Warzone… After a short pause, they they remained active in the nineties and nowadays they are still releasing new records and repressing their vast catalogue. Also known for making limited editions that are highly sought after by collectors from all over the world.
Youth Crew
Musical style within Hardcore Punk, that stands for clean living, compassionate living, Straight-Edge, Vegetarianism, conscious living… Was a group of youngsters from New York City that felt unity between each other, went to Hardcore shows and shared the same interest for the original Hardcore Punk movement from the early eighties. Most likely started by Youth Of Today in the mid-eigthies.

Is the Hardcore scene from Florida, USA. The scene had many bands during the nineties. Some of those bands are Morning Again, Culture, Tension, Strongarm. Floridian cities like Fort Lauderdale had a sprawling scene.
Hardline
Hardline is a movement within the Hardcore scene. They have outspoken Veganist and eco-centric convictions. They fight against the consumption of meat, diary and other animal products. Often did direct actions against those who abused animals also. Sean Muttaqi was the founder of this movement, played in the band Vegan Reich and started label called Hardline Records. Also strict Straight-Edge rules are part of their manifesto.
Integrity
Integrity are a Cleveland based band that started in 1988. Fronted by vocalist and devil of all trades, Dwid Hellion, Integrity has released an impressive back-catalogue and is still active as a band. In the early ’90’s the band unique sound and visuals had a massive influence on hardcore and paved the way for metalcore and metal influenced hardcore. Hailing ideas and concepts from arcane topics as the Proces Church of the Final Judgement for one and infusing their music and lyrics with them has led to Integrity’s ‘cult’ status among music fans all over the globe. Elusive and mysterious frontman Dwid Hellion has been releasing his demons upon the word for over 30 years now and remains to release his creations on sporadic occasions accompanied by a revolving group of guest musicians to accompany his material. For ever connected to their iconic ‘skull’ logo their aesthetic and sound have been of huge influence to metal and hardcore bands worldwide.
KDS Crew
KDS Crew is a group of youngsters that come from the Rennes and Nantes area in France. KDS is an abbreviation for Karate Dance Style. Stormcore, Right For Life, A Way Of Life, Underground Society, Darkseid an Slamface are all bands from that scene.

Length Of Time released their first demo in 1997. They are a band from Brussels, Belgium. They play a metallic style of Hardcore. Music is written by Kirby. Lyrics mostly deal with ethical questions and react to religion. Good Life Recordings released their first three albums. They still do shows nowadays.

Morning Again is a band from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They play a metallic, heavy and melodic style of Hardcore. They released albums in the United States, Belgium and other parts of Europe. Lyrics deal with ethical, psychological, ecological and other topics. They still play nowadays.

American Record label owned by Patrick Kitzel. Based in Syracuse, NY. Patrick played in Spawn and True Blue during the nineties. Guav DNA does most of the designs for the records and merchandise. Guav released the first Earth Crisis 7 inch on his label Conviction Records.
Rise And Fall
Belgian Punk Metal band rooted in the H8000 Hardcore scene. They play metallic Hardcore. Their demo had AK from Vitality in the line up. Later on they released four full lengths and some singles on several labels. Labels based in Europe as well as the United States.
Terror
Hardcore band from Los Angeles, USA, fronted by Scott Vogel. They were at the forefront of the worldwide Hardcore scene in the years 00’s. Released numerous full lengths on several labels. Albums like Lowest Of The Low, One With The Underdogs, Always The Hardway and Keepers Of The Faith are all pressed numerous times.

H8000 Hardcore
H8000 Hardcore from the province of West-Flanders in Belgium, Europe. Renowned for it’s metallic style of Hardcore. The nineties decade wouldn’t be what it was without the H8000 Hardcore scene. That was at the peak of it’s expansion between 1996 en 1998.
Blindfold
The band that brought wisdom and intelligent insights to many of the H8000 kids that later started bands of their own. They played a more emotional type of music that isn’t as heavy and hard as the other H8000 bands, but their message is nothing less powerful. They formed together with Shortsight, Nations On Fire and Spirit Of Youth the early 8000-Crew scene and played up until the year 1997.
Congress
The creators of the trademark Edge-Metal sound, the H8000 scene is renowned for. They made many influential and genre defining records such as “Euridium” and “Blackened Persistance”. Josh Fury was the brain behind the band and wrote most of the music and words for the band. Good Life Recordings was their label during the 90’s.
Deformity
Deformity played all out Death Metal without boundaries, released several records and a legendary and highly sought after demo. Some of the members also played in other H8000 bands. They were brought into Hardcore by Good Life Recordings but evolved to a hundred precent Metal band later on. Members went on to play in Solid, Congress and other bands.
Firestone
Firestone is a hidden gem of the H8000 scene. They played metal influenced Hardcore with a style all of their own. Firestone was a band that went through a lot of line-up changes, had several singers and released two LP records, one for Sober Mind and one for Genet Records but also a demo. The founder of the band Lennart went on to form Oathbreaker and also played in AmenRa.

Legion
Legion were a late nineties H8000 band from the coastal area of West-Flanders, Belgium. They played Death-Metal inspired Hardcore in vein of their predecessors. They have a demo cassette tape and a compact disc that was released by a label from the United Kingdom.
Liar
Liar was a militant Straight-Edge band that consisted out of members from Blindfold and Congress. Their first record ever was an LP called “Falls Of Torment” that was released through Good Life Recordings. And they had no need for a demo or 7 inch as they were already immediately famous in the Belgian scene. The main man of the band was Hans. He wrote the lyrics for the many sing-along songs the band created. The music for their first three records was written by Josh Fury. Wheel Of Progress was the band before Liar that already wrote some songs to be reused for Liar.
Lifecycle
Lifecycle were a band from Ypres in the H8000 area, West-Flanders, Belgium. They were inspired by the earlier generation bands Blindfold and Shortsight. The band was fronted by a female vocalist and the music is metallic sounding. They existed in the late nineties and in the beginning of the following decade. They have and demo and a compact disc out on Sober Mind Records. For their 2023 reunion they self-released a record as well.

Nations On Fire
Nations On Fire were the driving force behind the Belgian Hardcore scene in the early nineties. They had a clear and positive message. While other contemporaries of the same scene had a darker mindset. They toured across Europe and their records are still reissued up to this day. The main man in the band was Edward from Rise Above who later also started Good Life Recordings. Strike The Match is their debut full-length and has become a world-known classic amidst the Hardcore Punk scene kids. The record has seen pressings in Germany, Spain, Brasil, Poland, etc…
ODK Crew
ODK Crew was a band that came from the scene from Oostduinkerke. They consisted of members of Vitality and the drummer Ilja of Congress. They played Old School Hardcore with a clear message of friendship and a clear view upon the Hardcore scene. They produced a highly collectable 7 inch, a promotape and a CD.

Shortsight
Shortsight are one of the originators of the metallic Hardcore sound. And one of the 8000 Crew pioneers from back in 1992. Vocals for their demo were done by Hans and later Saskia, his sister took over. Most recordings were with her and she was a pioneer and a respected woman within the scene. They have a atmospheric sound that is unique. Their drummer went on to form Regression. And they were a huge inspiration for other bands to follow, like evidently Lifecycle.
Solid
Solid was one of the more heavy and brutal sounding bands with also a lot of influence by the Metal sound. They played a tougher style already from the beginning. Members came from Spirit Of Youth, the two brothers Dominiek and Frederiek. They released three compacts discs: Sadness Of Mankind, Darkside Moments, Total Rush and a tape called Blender starting from 1996. The band was way ahead of it’s time as many post-H8000 bands adopted the heavier style of Hardcore later on. Vocals were done by Sid and Jim.
Spineless
Spineless formed in the midst of the nineties. After their demo from the year 1996, they got signed to Sober Mind Records that released two now classical records for them; Painfields and A Talk Between Me And The Stars. They were skaters like almost everybody else and had the Straight-Edge and vegetarian ethics. After a traffic accident on their last tour they called it quits and started reflecting on other musical styles than Hardcore. Colin started Amenra together with a member of Firestone. Amenra is one of the biggest post-metal bands from Belgium. Other members formed several different bands as well later on.
Spirit Of Youth
Spirit Of Youth is one of the early 8000-Crew bands from the early nineties. They had lots of line-up changes but the two persons constantly playing in the band were the two brothers Dominiek and Frederik. They started out as an Old-School sounding hardcore band and evolved to more groovier Hardcore while not loosing that flavour. Dominiek and Frederik were the youngest musicians in the scene back then.
Vitality
Vitality is a H8000 Hardcore band formed in the midst of the nineties. They were from the coastal area of West-Flanders, Belgium. They produced a compact disc called Bloodline for Sober Mind and Good Life Recordings. Their second album called Crucial Wires was released on a French label. Their musical delivery is catchy and heavy New School Hardcore. Besides being recognised by the older H8000 Godfathers they had their own scene, called the ODK Posse. ODK is short for Oostduinkerke. Oostduinkerke is a coastal village were they gathered to skateboard and to rehears for their band. There you can still find the Oodeekay skateshop as well. Also created by people from this scene are the iconic cover for the Blackened Persistance LP, the band ODK Crew and finally the band Forced Hate.
Wheel Of Progress
Wheel Of Progress was the band before Liar, they played a prototypical Edge-Metal sound. Josh Fury describes it as Ministry meets Slayer riffs and as Metal music with a Hardcore message. Other members were Hans who later formed Liar, UxJx who later went to play in Congress and Liar and finally Rob from Feeding The Fire who later formed Born From Pain. Their only record was released by a Canadian label.

Genet Records
The label was founded by Bruno and Kathy in the early nineties. Bruno is also a co-organizer of the annual Hardcore Festival in Ieper, called Ieperfest. The label is currently still releasing records. Their aim is to release independent bands, playing a diverse style of music. Crust, Edge Metal, Skate Punk, Emo, Black Metal, Metalcore, all those styles are featured on Genet Records.
Good Life Recordings
The longest lasting and most productive Hardcore label of Belgium. They brought the H8000-style and metallic style of Hardcore to a worldwide audience. Good Life Recordings also has three sublabels of relevance; Final Beatdown Records, Soulreaper Records and Green Leaf Records.

The label of Hans and UxJx before Sober Mind Recordings and Frostbite Records came to existence. Founded somewhere after the turn of the eigthies into the nineties decade. The label has a small catalogue featuring Blindfold, Nations On Fire from Belgium and Reveal from New Jersey, USA.

Belgian record label ran by Hans Verbeke mainly during the nineties. Released bands from the H8000 scene, broader European scene and even bands from the United States. They often released in coöperation with Genet Records and some releases with Good Life Recordings. First release was the Spirit Of Youth Engine/Darkroom cassette single, released in 1993. Hans currently releases records under a different label.
Warehouse Records
Warehouse Records released some crucial demo cassettes and the Congress Euridium ep on vinyl. Also the Warehouse compilation is considered as the first H8000 Crew compilation. Later Edward changed the name of the label to Good Life Recordings.
