90’s Hardcore Punk online information centre
Since 2009 we are bringing you the best of our research. Research done in several fields like H8000 Hardcore, Nineties Hardcore, personal interviews and various records. Elaborated with texts, photos, videos and audio samples.

We were the first to start publishing the history of the H8000 Hardcore scene. And we did it online through this website.

Besides our local scene, other cities and countries are documented as well. Find history about the scenes in the USA, France, The Netherlands, Italy and more as well.

Find interviews and Q&A with people from various scenes. Like Josh Fury of Congress, Hans Liar, Agus, Tim Rule and more.

Records are the best source for Hardcore Punk music, lyrics and photos. So this is why we collect and review them.
“Hardcore Punk deserves to be documented. And we are building a trustworthy database that people can rely on for decades to come…“

Obtained another test press from the Reaper Records catalogue, the Take Offense “Under The Same Shadow” test press. This ep came out as a one sided 12 inch in 2012. The artwork of the standard cover isn’t so good in my opinion. But the artwork for the two limited edition covers are very good, that…

Along with the Statement “Decide” pre-orders, I also bought another copy of the Titan and Witness The Fall 7 inch. I already reviewed the split release in a previous post. This time I bought the blue version, which also looks very good. Still loving the music and am starting to appreciate Titan more and more.…

All of a sudden Statement is back with a new record. They still play that old school sounding metal but now have a new vocalist, Tim. The music is still good, no decay from their earlier work. Even a bit more smoothly executed, it’s the best side of the record. The vocals sound deep and…

It’s been a while since I was excited about a new Hardcore release. This band embodies the continuation of the Orange County Straight-Edge started by Uniform Choice way back in the 80’s. They do not play the same kind of music, it’s old school Hardcore for sure but all a tad heavier and less melodic.…
