Moment in time

While everyone is consuming Revelation Records represses and new releases, it finally was made clear what Revelation Records number 200 would be in the midst of November 2024. Revelation Records 200 would become the enigmatic Chung King recordings for the would be Bringin’ It Down LP, remastered for 2024.

Release details

The new record was pressed on several colours for the occasion and to meet the nowadays trend of pressing several coloured vinyl versions for a release. There is already a second press available of this version as well. It also has two extra tracks at the end of the record. These two tracks were featured on the Lost And Found pressing of these recordings.

History

According to Kevin Finn’s research, this record was originally pressed on 110 copies and also test pressings were made. As you will see there’s also an inventory of where these copies can be found, if the owner agrees to be mentioned on this list. This record has catalogue number -1 (minus one). The original cover has got an inversed colour scheme; white with black lettering.

Price

The latest registered sale of an original copy was in December 2024 on Discogs .com. The price it sold for was 8500 United States Dollars.

This pressing is as a necessary pressing. The original pressing is, given the price and the low number on the market, quite impossible to get. This pressing was necessary to make this piece of history available for a wider audience and for a more democratic price.

As you can read on the backside of the cover, the original record was originally released as a tribute to the lost recordings and the money that was spent for these recordings.
